I hate it when a meeting I have been preparing for is cancelled at the last minute. So was the case for me yesterday. I was about 1 hour away from leaving home to catch a midnight flight to the US, when an urgent email arrived…. “the” meeting was not going to take place.
From Israel, we tend not to fly transatlantic for a single meeting, but rather use them as an anchor to plan additional meetings. I was left with all the additional meetings…. I ended up cancelling the trip, and had to deal with all the related logistics. Figured that I have to be in the states anyhow in 2 weeks so will try and consolidate these trips.
It is certainly a waste of time (my time, my assistants’, travel agent, etc., etc.) dealing with all of the overhead involved in putting together a trip, and then with the cancellation. However, now I find myself with 2 full days, and no meetings! What a great opportunity to clean my Inbox, blog, and even get home early to see my boys. Looking at the glass half-full is a much better approach.
It could be a good opportunity for you to launch your Tali Shop on Zlio ? :-)

Tali,
Since you posted that you will be in the states then - you might want to see our presentation at the O'Reilly Etel Conference launchpad!
Feb 27th in SF
