When arriving in Israel, you immediately notice the small size of this country. People all watch the same TV shows, movies, eat at the same trendy restaurants, go to the same place for vacation, and of course, wear the same clothes. In this case, I’m talking about what we refer to as the “National Shoe” = Crocs… I think that we were the only family in Israel, in which no member had a pair – neither real nor knock-off - well, until today . Yoav just had to have them, so now, we too have ugly (but apparently very comfortable) turquoise crocs, which cost ~$47 over here!!!
.
I heard about it, but didn't realize how ugly they are :)

Crocs have been popular in my neck of the woods (Portland, Oregon) for quite some time and pretty much every kid wears them along with Keens.
Crocs are actually made from a company based in Boulder, Colorado.
I have resisted the temptation to get them, but I think the forces are against me (my kids want me to get them)
