Tali,

With all this time on your hands, you couldn't run a spellchecker on your post? Dilemma is spelt with 2 m's... :-)

And is sure seems like it's a tough world out there in the VC waters. 2 months off work whenever you feel like it, ski vacations... It sounds almost as if the title of your blog is still true and you are still living in the valley and in dusty and mostly poor Israel...

Thank you Anonymous for finding a bug in my blog editor (looks like it doesn't check titles). Vacation is wonderful and important - for those in venture capital and pretty much any other job. I am indeed fortunate to have the ability to take a longer vacation, after all, I have accumulated all those days.....

Tali, but the Club Med in Alpe d'Huez is not kosher! They serve only pork and shrimps over there. Where will you get your food?

I'm sure you'll enjoy the skiing! But - Make sure to read this book: The Paradox of Choice (Barry Schwartz) or listen to his presentation during your vacation: http://www.ted.com/tedtalks/tedtalksplayer.cfm?key=b_schwartz

He talks about your (and all of our) exact problem - too much to choose from!
