
Moving away is not an easy task. Not only, do you need to get organized with so many tasks, which just never end, but you find yourself with the clock ticking to hit all those “must see, must do” spots that you’ve never quite found the time for.
Mitchell’s Ice Cream was just one of those spots that I didn’t visit during the first 6 years that I lived in the Bay Area, but the last week before moving back, I was there twice…. (I’ve actually been meaning to post on the subject for awhile, just couldn’t find the photo’s that I took.)
Apparently, everybody in San Francisco knows about this place. For a scoop of avocado or buko (yum!), you wait in line for a good 30+ minutes (see for yourself in the photo). I thought it was delicious. Could be that you have to justify the wait to yourself, or perhaps is is just really great!





try iceberg on ben yehuda st. for the israeli version I guess...
I'm more of the coldstone crowd.
